“A thing of beauty is a joy forever,” or so the saying goes. I love flowers as decor, yet am always saddened when they begin to wilt and die. Silk plants hold little appear for me, and I don’t have much of a green thumb, so replenishing them frequently has simply been beyond me. Until now. I love how The Fine Art of Paper Flowers enables/empowers me to create a lovely bit of nature itself, using simple paper, wire, and other inexpensive products.

The arrangements are lovely, like the super-high-quality book itself — the many wonderful photos make this as much a coffee table book as it is a crafting book. Some displays have many steps, like when making many folds to subtly crinkle each petal of a flower. Yet the projects are relaxing and when finished, they really are a thing of beauty — and a joy forever, in a variety of ways!
