I’ve been interested in learning about tatting for years and I have been watching Youtube videos (like the one below) to learn more about the basics of this lovely craft. I knew it was a way to make knotted laces, and has been around for centuries.

I was happy to see it was actually quite simple, and I got this book to learn more about it. I appreciate that the finished products are strong, even with the lacey texture. This book has a lot of amazing designs which are taken from vintage tatting patterns. I especially love the medallions with the intricate repeating designs.
