The little origami boxes from this wonderful book feature delightfully complex designs offered in a clear and easy-to-follow format. The book offers photos of the completed box, along with a description of the key folds and techniques needed to create it. There are also clear and helpful illustrations for each step of the way.

It’s very well made, including the excellent paper used in the book itself and its binding. Like the coloring book craze, the book focuses on helping you relax by increasing your focus and mindfulness on a basic task. Here, though, I find that working with the paper more tangibly helps me to clear my mind more thoroughly. And, I have a cute little box when I’m done. I’d recommend this especially for origami enthusiasts looking for new challenges.
