I’ve been sewing my whole life, but I love a good project that doesn’t require pulling out the machine. So, I was very interested in the projects in Never Been Stitched, which include ideas from many different textile designers.

I’m working on the No Sew Message Center, which requires no sewing, only gluing, and starts with an embroidery hoop. I’m just using fabric scraps that I have around the house, so it’s a zero cost project for me!

Another creation I have my eye on is the Fabric Wrapped Wreath, which uses a wrap and pin technique that’s really simple. I love the rainbow effect and I certainly have a lot of spare remnants to use for it!

I also like that my daughter, who is new to sewing, found so many things she wanted to make in Never Been Stitched. She loves all the bright and happy ideas, including several adorable ones specifically for kids like the Caterpillow!

Find out how to make this gorgeous Low Sew Fleece Cowl from the book!
