My little girls love Uni the Unicorn books — and so do I! This beautiful Christmas story, from the delightful Uni the Unicorn series, shows how Uni, along with a lost magical reindeer, help save Christmas and (eventually) catch up to Santa’s sleigh. Then, they deliver one last present to The Little Girl. From the glittery front cover to the happy resolution, this is another colorful children’s story, with vintage-style illustrations that elevate the fun story into a charming treasure. I like how the two work together to deliver lost presents to various homes, including under one home’s tree with a menorah nearby. This would make a wonderful holiday gift for any “Little Girl” you know!

This is a beautifully illustrated storybook about giving thanks, including by enjoying a meal and celebrating together — as in Thanksgiving. When Uni wants to thank her friend for helping her save an apple tree, Uni and the Litte Girl talk about how to thank others — hugs, greeting cards, and celebrating together. Learning to be more thoughtful and conscientious about thanking others is an important part of life, with whether a person knows how to show gratitude being one of the simplest ways to appraise another’s character. This book, including its wonderful vintage illustrative style, is a magical way to help reinforce this important part of every relationship.
