I like finding new ways to craft and I surprised at the variety of ideas for home printing in Fabric Printing at Home. There are lots of fun patterns and prints and they even branch out from the standard potato print to use other veggies like corn on the cob and broccoli, which both make interesting patterns.

I especially liked how the string and the foil techniques turned out. I’ve already made a simple cardboard stamp with a butterfly shape and my daughter and I had fun decorating a white t-shirt of hers. There’s lots of photos and step by step instructions that are really easy to follow. I kept thinking about how fun some of these techniques would be to use for teaching to kids at summer camp!
