I’ve seen lots of great projects on Pinterest for using pallets and they look great, but I wasn’t sure how to actually make them. Crafting with Wood Pallets includes 26 fantastic and fun projects which use wood from pallets with a built-in used wood look. So far, I’ve just been working on the Command Central, where we will hang keys, leave school books and coupons, and write our shopping list and meal plans on the chalk board. It’s coming along well and looks great.

We’re also hoping to make the Pet Bed and the Word Art projects next. The book includes everything I needed to know about pallets, including where to find them and which to avoid — some are treated with chemicals (bad) — what tools to use, and so forth. Plus, I can usually find the pallets for free, which is great.
