I needed a cheap and easy way to jazz up my classroom decorations. I had some time, but next-to-zero funding. What to do? This book is my salvation. There are about 75 different specific pictorial objects, ranging from angel wings to wall racks, along with several alphabets, numbers, arrows, and other sets. The system is quick and easy to do — using minute mountain and valley folds, although I could never have come up with it on my own, and it took me some practice to get really good.

Still, even my early attempts turned out “bulletin board worthy.” The final results on many are outstanding, with the interplay of light and shadow making them visually interesting, by highlighting what is shown, and the message behind it, rather than obscuring it. The book itself is as well-made, well-designed, well-written, as the projects are well-conceived. What a valuable book!
