I needed more time to focus in my life, and I thought that a writing journal would be helpful in lots of ways. So when I saw this cute sloth journal, encouraging me to “slow down and reflect,” well, it was perfect. I love the design, with the cute sloths, and the tropical foliage. The size is perfect to both carry around and to write on.

For me, it is partly a writing notebook and partly for art & doodling. I actually use it as a planner, too. I like how the open format — simple lined pages — doesn’t force me into a specific kind of calendaring or productivity scheme. Each page is lined on both sides, printed on great quality paper. It’s a lovely journal that I love to carry with me and use often. Great for the new year, too!
