My daughter loves rock painting. It’s a way for her to practice painting, doing henna designs, painting her (and her friends’) nails, etc. So she’s loving this book which offers friendly and engaging instructions that are straightforward and easy to follow, along with helpful tips and explanations of techniques that seem to me to be enough to help anyone to go from absolute beginner to a you-could-sell-these professional level.

There are 25 different projects which are clearly adaptable for a wide variety of designs, though most revolve around the mandala-esque styles of design. Lovely and, following the steps, easy to do. The book itself is beautifully photographed and very well designed with colorful layouts that are really fun to look through.
