This is a well-made little book with wonderfully cute designs. There are numerous photos of the completed fruits and vegetables, but no step-by-step photos. Instead, the instructions offer traditional stitching guides, along with additional text descriptions of the tricky bits.

There are several pages of introductions for beginners. For me, these are super fun! My favorite is the tiny peas inside their own little peapod. I love that, being so small, the fruits and vegetables don’t take too much time, or materials, and I can go on to the next. I’m going to set up a bowl of crocheted fruit for the dining table!
