This fun and engaging book offers some excellent coloring pages — very well done, with larger designs which work well even if you’re younger. Or, have the patience of a younger person. Either way. There are drawing prompts, showing the steps to draw a simple flamingo, for example.

The paper is high quality, the printing is very good, and the book itself is fairly large — 9 by 9 inches, with a thick cardboard backing so no desk is required. More importantly, the several chapters each feature an important quality all of us need to develop, hopefully, while we’re young. Kindness and curiosity, beauty and bravery, confidence and creativity.

All are considered, one by one, with wonderfully concise, yet profound, advice and affirmations. The points made are simple yet entirely valid and seem very helpful. This is a truly wonderful book for young ladies!
