I’ve been sewing for decades and while my sewing machine has lot of possible options for stitches, I have tended to just stick to the basics and only tried a couple of others. I was interested to check out Super Stitches Sewing and dig a little deeper, since it covers over fifty machine stitches, as well as eighteen hand stitching techniques.

Many of the stitches in Super Stitches Sewing I was already familiar with, like the applique and the overcast stitches, but there were plenty of new ones I definitely want to try, like the cute asterisk stitch and the elegant ladder stitch. My grandma was an avid quilter, so seeing the different styles of hand stitching brought back memories for me. I really like having access to all of the stitches in one guide, it’s very handy and informative!
