This is a heart-warming, rhyming book, about love and prayer, told by a mother to her child. In it, the narrator explains how much she looked forward to the child’s birth, and how happy she is to see her child growing and reaching new milestones now. She explains to the child that they can pray, too, and “Pray God guides you in all that you do, and blesses the ones who love you, too.” The sweet illustrations feature various forest animals — mothers with their children — who they look over, with love. The book is well made and printed, and is a treasure for my family. I love to read it to my little ones, to help them understand how much I love and pray for them, too.
