Being a huge Jessica Hische fan, I was thrilled to see this “wordy” book — literally and figuratively! It tells the fun story of some young lowercase letters, living in a happy New York City, who go on a walkabout field trip to look where letters appear in the city. As they (and readers) discover, words are everywhere. The text is playful, yet enlightening! The illustrations are truly charming, with a fun, four-page fold-out showing words filling a Times Square-style panorama. This is really a stand-out book that I think any reader, or even library, would deeply appreciate.
