I got this book to help my kids with their “math anxiety.” They’re enjoying the activities a great deal, especially the coloring, stitching, and toothpick gumdrop puzzles. I remember doing some of the book’s many activities in school — and enjoying them, too — but hadn’t realized they exhibited mathematic principles, So, I really appreciate the ways the book explains the underlying math in each activity, revealing the creativity and problem-solving skills actually involved in-real-life math. The book offers a dynamic layout, a deluxe soft-bound binding, and many, many full-color diagrams and photos.
