First things first: Every Little Thing Coloring Book has nothing to do with the song by The Police (lol!). Instead, it offers a wide range of little, hand-drawn animals, plants, foods, and other everyday objects and shapes. The outlines are just that — simple outlines — drawn with a slightly wiggling hand, which is trendy and fun (and easy) to color. The patterns repeat all the way out to the edges, in two-page spreads, and appear on both sides of each page.

So, I think this is probably best used with colored pencils rather than markers which might bleed through, even though the paper pages are quite thick. It’s a charming book that I’m enjoying, especially the spread of different dog breeds, all arranged in circles of three, and another page which includes capybaras(!), roses, teddy bears, and little birds with party hats. It’s a cute and relaxing coloring book for all ages.
