Dr. Seuss’s 100 First Words
True Story: After writing “The Cat in the Hat,” which had only 225 words, Dr. Seuss’ editor, bet him he couldn’t write a book using 50 words or less. So he wrote “Green Eggs and Ham.” So, in this engaging word book we get twice as many words, covering important life skill topics for any toddler: colors, farm animals, clothing, bath time, and more. Each page includes 7 or so items with accompanying text identifying each one.
The illustrations are taken from Seuss’ most famous books, and the fun and colorful style and layout, makes it a fun book for kids and parents to look through. The hardbound book features board book style pages, but is in a larger format, about 10.5 inches square. It’s a great gift for any toddler (and parent) in your life.
