It shows how her acting career stemmed from disappointments in ballet, but led to iconic roles that she is well-remembered for. It also explains her work for UNICEF, having faced the difficulties of WW2 herself, and relying on UNICEF’s assistance. It is a charming and moving biography, with beautiful illustrations throughout.
