My mom really enjoys playing Sudoku and these little paperback books are perfect for her to tuck into her purse and bring with her to appointments or while waiting for grocery pickups. The puzzles are created by Peter Ritmeester, founder and owner of PZZL.com.

They have complete instructions in the front of the books, then all of the puzzles, and then the solutions are in the back. Here are the rules: insert the digits 1-6 just once in each a) row, b) column, c) bold outlined area AND d) in each white and gray rectangle.

I’m still learning and am at the easy level right now, but my mom is having a great time with them and enjoys the hard puzzles as well.
