As a mom who loves crafts, I’m really happy that my daughter loves them, too. I spent hours looking through Childcraft as a child and my daughter does the same thing with her own crafting books.
Project Kid has so many great creations and I think my daughter could accomplish almost any of them by herself and with very little help, which gives her a strong sense of accomplishment. I also appreciate how many of the crafts use items we can recycle from around the house.
We had already learned how to make simple yarn pom-poms, and the adorable fruit pom-poms were a fun way to use our new found skills. I also noticed some good ideas for parties, like a fairy wreath for a woodland party or the felt crowns for princes or princesses or a superhero cape.
With these simple and engaging projects, I am certain Project Kid is a book we will turn to over and over.
